Elpis launched the first Crypto-Equity ICO starting with a pre-sale on November 1, 2017. When we at Elpis identified the ICO as the most viable of the means to fund our project, we also had to define the characteristics and features of our own ICO. Once share certificates are redeemed, the tokens are destroyed and the token holder becomes a “shareholder.” Token holders will need to meet eligibility criteria to become “shareholders,” meaning that they need to pass the security’s KYC, AML, net worth procedures.
